BlackJack is a game that has gained enormous popularity as of late. Although Blackjack has a background shrouded in mystery, experts agree that it had it’s roots in France. The card game is said to have originated in 17th century France under the name of “Vingt En Un” (which meant “21” in French). It was played very similar to modern day Blackjack and was the most popular game in France. It proliferated all across the world shortly afterward. Blackjack had found it’s biggest advocate when it reached Vegas. Once the game hit in the casinos of Las Vegas, it took off like a rocket and never came back. It is now the world’s most popular casino game. BlackJack is so appealing to players because the thrill of victory and agony of defeat is like an adrenaline rush to many gamblers. The game  has become a mainstay across the country and worldwide as well as storming the internet. It is a guilty pleasure for many executives and blue-collar workers alike. Blackjack is also very easy to learn and teach– adding to it’s ever-increasing popularity!
